Each Layvra object is 3D printed layer by layer using plant-based PLA filament. The subtle lines you may notice between layers are not defects — they are the visible signature of the printing process. Each layer is 0.2mm thin. This is craft made visible. No two pieces are identical. Your piece is one of a kind.

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic derived from renewable plant sources such as corn starch and sugarcane. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, PLA is produced from natural, renewable resources. It is the material we chose because it aligns with our commitment to responsible production — without compromising on quality or beauty.

Our objects are decorative — not designed for food contact. PLA filament is generally considered non-toxic, but our products are not certified food-safe. Use as decorative objects only.

3D printing produces objects on demand — meaning we only make what is ordered. This eliminates overproduction and excess inventory. Combined with plant-based PLA filament, our process is significantly lower impact than traditional manufacturing methods.

PLA is technically compostable under industrial composting conditions. Home composting is not recommended. Check your local recycling guidelines for PLA bioplastics. Our packaging is fully recyclable — kraft paper, no plastic anywhere.

We ship within the United States only. We do not ship internationally at this time. All orders ship from Los Angeles, California.

Each piece is made to order. Processing time is 3 to 5 business days before shipment. You will receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships.

Every Layvra order arrives in a recycled kraft box with no plastic. Inside: kraft tissue paper, a thank you card, care instructions and a lavender sachet. We design the unboxing as carefully as the object.

All Layvra objects are 3D printed using plant-based PLA filament — a bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as corn starch and sugarcane. The material is lightweight, durable and produced with significantly lower environmental impact than conventional plastics.

Every Layvra lamp includes Kit 001: one round LED bulb, one USB cable with inline controller. The controller allows power on/off, three color temperatures (Warm, Natural and Cool White) and brightness adjustment. Powered via USB 5V. USB adapter not included — any standard USB adapter works.

We recommend using only LED bulbs with a maximum of 7W. Do not use incandescent or halogen bulbs — heat may damage the plant-based PLA material.

Yes. The included Kit 001 inline controller allows you to adjust brightness from soft to bright and switch between three color temperatures: Warm White, Natural White and Cool White.

No. Layvra lamps are designed for indoor use only. Exposure to moisture, rain or direct sunlight for extended periods may damage the plant-based PLA material.

No. All Layvra objects are for indoor decorative use only. Keep away from water, moisture and prolonged direct sunlight.

No. Layvra vessels and trays are not water resistant and are not designed to hold water — even for short periods. Our objects are designed exclusively for: — Dried flowers — Artificial flowers — Decorative objects Do not use with fresh flowers or any liquid. Water may cause the plant-based PLA material to warp or leak over time.

No. Lago and Luna trays are decorative objects — not waterproof. Use them to display: — Candles and matches — Small stones and crystals — Jewelry and accessories — Dried flowers and stems — Soap bars — dry only — Small books or cards Do not place wet or damp objects on the trays.

Wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use cleaning products, solvents or abrasive materials. Do not submerge in water.

PLA is a rigid material but can crack under significant impact. Handle with care. We recommend keeping your lamp away from high-traffic areas where it may be knocked over.

Yes. The included LED bulb is low heat and energy efficient. However, we recommend turning off your lamp when not in use or when leaving the room for extended periods.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. UV exposure may cause gradual color fading in PLA materials over time. For best longevity keep your piece away from direct sun.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original condition and original packaging. Items showing signs of use, damage or missing packaging cannot be returned. To initiate a return contact us at contact@layvrastudio.com with your order number and reason for return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

If your item arrived damaged please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at contact@layvrastudio.com with your order number and clear photos of the damage and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. We take full responsibility for items damaged in transit.

Yes. All Layvra products come with a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications or normal wear. To make a warranty claim contact contact@layvrastudio.com with your order number and photos.

No. Layvra Studio is online only. We do not have a showroom or physical retail location. All orders are placed through layvrastudio.com and shipped directly to you.
